Our team is responsible for activities related to quality management across the factory network of PWR Transmission. The workplace is in Halden, Charleston, Charleroi, or another agreed-upon location, and you will be reporting to the Quality Director PWR Transmission.Getting a flying startTo succeed in the Quality department, you have extensive experience from the engineering and manufacturing industry. You have experience in quality management, including ISO certification and preventive & analysis tools such as 8D analysis or FMEA. Experience in Lean Management and Continuous Improvement is a plus. You have worked in companies that are project-driven and have activities related to quality management requirements. You have experience working domestically or internationally in matrix organizations. You have experience in leading quality initiatives and have a strong background in structured thinking and leadership through your natural ability to drive change and work in a cross-functional environment.Our growth CultureAt the individual level, our growth culture is built on trust and collaboration. You will be strongly aligned with the Industrial Leadership and be part of their regular meetings (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) as the Quality representative. In coordination with the individual Plant Quality Managers and other Stakeholders, you will manage Plant quality processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the plant network, develop and harmonize a solid Quality Management System, and identify and mitigate operational quality-related risks. You will engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives enhancing quality performance.Your starting point when you join--- Degree in a relevant area of specialization.--- 10 years of senior management experience with 5 years in global Quality or Quality-related functions.--- Solid business acumen in Engineering and Manufacturing project business.--- Experience in Quality Management (ISO certification, preventive & analysis tools such as 8D analysis or FMEA, etc.).--- Fluent in English; Norwegian and French are a plus.--- Your personal values are aligned with those of Nexans: Pioneer, Dedicated, United.--- Strong structured thinking, ability to drive change in a cross-functional environment, leadership, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and manage a worldwide team.--- Results-driven and a very good people leader with established soft skills.--- Able to train, coach, and develop teams.
