Job Description:

qualified CVOR RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425 About The
Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular
Operating Room (CVOR) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour
(08:30 - 21:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum
2 years required; experience in circulating complex cardiac cases,
general OR cases, and vascular cases is mandatory. Experience in
scrubbing cardiac/vascular cases is preferred. First-time
applicants are not preferred. License: South Carolina or
Multi-state RN license must be active at the start of the contract.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must be from the AHA) Must-Have:
Radiation badge (provided by the agency) Job Description: -
Scheduled shifts are 3x12 days from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday
through Friday. - One weekend of on-call duty is required per
month, and holiday call may be required. - The facility is a Level
I Trauma Center, a Teaching Facility, and a Magnet Hospital with
820 total staffed beds. - Charting is done using the EPIC system. -
Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response
teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through
November, with peak activity in August and September. - Orientation
is 16 hours and non-billable, with an average of 4 hours spent on
modules pre-start, which are also non-billable. - Open to
accommodating block schedules with manager's approval, dependent on
unit's needs. - The facility can call off the traveler for one
shift every two weeks, with those hours being accounted for in the
overall schedule. - Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be
considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional Details: - Only one
unit or campus submission at a time is allowed. - Candidates with a
clinical pass and 7 days or less of non-holiday RTO may be
auto-offered. - All Request for Time Off (RTO) must be provided at
submission; any time off planned should not prevent the completion
