  • Position / Specialty: OR CST
  • Shift: 3x12s, 630a-7p, weekend days. Saturday/Sunday, and one day through the week.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) up to manager discretion
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off one shift 2 weeks.--hours can be broken down to equal one shift
  • The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN's are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.

      • Holidays: Traveler will be required to work at least one of the holiday periods
      • Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov. 28 - Sunday Dec.1
      • Christmas: Tuesday, Dec. 24 - Thursday, Dec. 26
      • New years: Tuesday, Dec. 31 - Wednesday Jan. 1

      • **Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.**
