Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs. Locals accepted: Yes. Local radius: 60 miles. Locals accepted on a case by case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks 9C serves as a short stay unit to care for ED boarders, bedded OP, PACU boarders, and Obs patients. Located at MUSC Healths main hospital, 9 Center is a nine-bed ER overflow, Admission and Holding unit open 24/7. 9Center is designed to help alleviate boarding in the Emergency Department. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses. 9 Center is designated and designed for the short-term treatment, observation until discharge, or next day transfer to inpatient units. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91 presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. **Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors will be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
