- Certification Details
- Certs/Licenses REQUIRED: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or
ARRT(R) or (CT), SCRQSA(State License) in Nuclear Medicine and
Radiology or Computed Tomography.

- PET Technologist
- Shift: Will work 5x8hrs, 9a-530p (M-F)
- No holidays
- Is on-call REQ? No
- Weekend REQ: Unit performs PETCT scans on Saturdays twice a
month. May be required to work 1or 2 Saturdays depending on unit
needs
- Will this traveler float between service lines? No
- Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
- Years of experience REQ: 1 year
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Trauma Level REQ: Level 1 and II trauma is preferred
- Equipment/Scanner Exp REQ: Siemens
- Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by
agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2
weeks
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to
assignment, but not guaranteed.
- Locals Accepted/Local Radius: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at
10% less than the posted bill rate. Local radius is 60 miles.
- RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of
submission. Approval will be based on manager/unit's needs.
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all
employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response
teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
