This position will ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medication to patients for assigned areas; be trained to prepare hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products in accordance to USP 797 and USP 800 standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player with excellent time management and communication skills. The candidate will complete schedule review in order to plan for inventory management, and cover for other infusion pharmacy/sterile compounding operations as needed, including ART inpatient IV (hazardous and non-hazardous) batches.Additional Job DescriptionEducation: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 2 years.Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP), and national certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is required and must be maintained.If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!The Medical University of South Carolina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
