Location: Charleston, SC and associated CBOCs

Shift Schedule: Between the hours of 7:00AM and 5:30PM (Monday through Friday, 12-hour shifts, including alternating weekends.)

Duration: 1+ Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)

Start Date: March 2025



Qualification

Education: Graduate of a state-approved school of practical/vocational nursing.

License: LPN

Certifications: BLS/CPR and Covid 19

Experience: Min 2+ years of recent experience in a long-term care setting (within the last 6 months).

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care in accordance with the Licensed Practical Nurse Act and VA guidelines.
Administer and document medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous) accurately.
Assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes in condition to RNs or physicians.
Provide patient education on health conditions, treatments, and coping strategies.
Maintain accurate patient records in VistA/CPRS systems.
Support infection control measures and adhere to safety protocols.
Provide care to COVID-19 positive patients or PUIs as required. Refusal to do so may result in removal from assignment.

Must be willing to work with COVID-19 positive patients
