Job SummaryAs a key member of our Prepared Foods team, the Team Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation department. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Development
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team by providing coaching, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Assist the Team Leader in managing daily operations, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
    • Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
    • Customer Service
      • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
      • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that customers feel valued and appreciated.
      • Inventory Management
        • Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and receiving products.
        • Ensure that all products are stored and displayed in a way that promotes customer engagement and sales.
        • Regulatory Compliance
          • Ensure that all food preparation areas comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
          • Participate in regular health and safety audits to ensure compliance.Requirements
            • Leadership Experience
              • At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a retail or food service environment.
              • Food Service Experience
                • At least 1 year of experience in a food preparation environment.
                • Education and Certifications
                  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
                  • Skills and Abilities
                    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
                    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
                    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
                    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
