Job Description:

We are looking for trained paramedics or EMTs to be part of our team of healthcare professionals. The job isn't simple but it is very rewarding. The goal is simply to contribute the best you can to help people in need.*Responsibilities** Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions* Lead and coordinate the team responding to transports* Evaluate the patient's condition on the scene and perform preliminary diagnosis* Attend to injuries or sudden illnesses by applying a variety of pre-hospital simple and advanced treatments (first aid, CPR, administering injections and oxygen etc.)* Use tech equipment and tools to stabilize patients or provide immediate treatment* Monitor patient's condition en route to the destinations* Write and submit concrete and accurate reports on incidents* Adhere to established medical protocols and procedures as well as legal guidelines and health and safety standards* Keep abreast with new treatment and medical procedures through continuous training*Skills** Proven experience as a paramedic or EMT* Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications* Ability to stay calm and make the right decisions in adverse conditions* Adaptable with a great deal of stamina* Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices* Integrity and compassion towards human pain* Valid driver's license* Valid State and National Certifications* Valid CPR Certification* High school diploma* Clean MVR and Background CheckJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 - 60 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 12 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Holidays* Monday to Friday* Night shift* Overtime* Weekends as neededApplication Question(s):* Are you willing to undergo a background check?Education:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:* EMT/Paramedic: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)* Paramedic or EMT State License (Required)* Paramedic or EMT National Registry Certification (Required)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)* Overnight Shift (Preferred)* Night Shift (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:* Charleston, SC: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: On the road
