Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Flight Readiness Technician, in Charleston, SC

Position type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 6+ Month
Location: Charleston, SC

Primary Responsibilities:Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components.
Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions.
Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.
Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection.
Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives.
Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Must be able to work any shift including days, nights, and weekends.
6 months of avionics and/or electrical experience.
6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
6 months experience/knowledge with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
6 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
6 months of Program experience.
Familiar with company Production System.
6 months' experience with Field/Flight Line Operations.


Typical Education/Experience:Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years'
Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $30- $37 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
